If your device is not working ( no beeping, an amber light on the display instead of the green one) you can check on the Via Verde website if there is an alert message. You do it by logging in or clicking on the tab “ Apoio ao cliente”
If you think that the device is faulty you should go to the Via Verde office near you and the staff there will check your device and if it’s necessary will issue you with a new one, which is already activated and you simply place in the vehicle. There will be a charge for the new device if it’s outside its warranty period ( two years) but that charge is automatically added to your account and will be paid in your usual method
